ALICE IN WONDERLAND IS SOLD OUT!
The entire run of Alice in Wonderland is sold out. Thank you to everyone for the great response to our show!
We are unfortunately unable to extend the run, and we are also unable to keep a waiting list for cancelled tickets.
We do not expect cancellations, but if there are those tickets will be posted at
Brown Paper Tickets.
We do not accept walk-up sales for sold out shows.
Thank you for the wonderful response to Alice in Wonderland!
Alice in Wonderland performs at 2170 Bear Gulch Road (West), Woodside CA 94062. For a map and directions,
please click on Our Location.
We ask that you use our directions and not map sites like Mapquest and Google as they are not
accurate. Also, the time it takes to reach our site is often underestimated.
Please allow for plenty of time to get to our site. And please arrive at the site at least 20
minutes before the show starts.
The Box Office and our site opens at 12pm, at which time guests are welcome to begin picnicking at our site.
Picnicking is available from 12pm - 1pm. You bring your own picnic, and we'll provide
blankets and chairs! Also, you may leave your picnic belongings at the picnic site if you wish so you don't have to
carry them around with you during the hike and performance.
If you have purchased advance tickets to the show, please read this entire page as it
explains all the details you might need to know before coming to the show!
You can purchase advance tickets with your credit card from
Brown Paper Tickets, the only
fair trade ticketing service. Tickets purchased through Brown Paper Tickets can be picked up at will call on
the day of the show beginning when our site opens at 12pm.
Hike!
Our shows are indeed part of a hike! Please be aware that hiking is required at
our site. The pace of the hike is leisurely, and there are many switchbacks on our
trails to allow for easy hiking up and down the site. Upon arrival to the site,
you will be asked to sign a waiver so as to assure everyone that you are responsible
for yourself. Minors can have their parents or legal guardians sign their waivers
for them. If a minor is to attend a performance without their parent or legal guardian,
s/he will have to have their parent sign ahead of time. If you need the waiver
ahead of time, please contact us at 415-668-2879. Thank you.
No one is allowed into the performance and property without signing a waiver.
For Alice in Wonderland, there are a couple of performance spots along the guided
hike. The majority of this play will take place in two performance spaces.
The entire roundtrip hike for this production is just under a mile.
Alice in Wonderland is approximately two and a half hours long, including the hike.
Shoes!
As our show is part of a guided hike, we recommend you come dressed with appropriate
walking/hiking shoes and clothing. Bring your own sunscreen if you wish, and we'll
provide bug spray (you're welcome of course to bring your own).
Weather!
The weather at our site is unpredictable, so please come dressed in layers.
Picnic!
You are encouraged to arrive early to picnic at our site before the show starts.
Our site is open beginning at 12pm. Bring your own picnic, and we'll provide
the blankets and chairs for you. There will be one intermission during the performance
where water and snacks will be available for purchase.
Bathrooms!
As our site is entirely rustic, we provide two portable bathrooms at the top of the
site for our audience. These are the only formal bathrooms on site, so please plan
accordingly. Guests are allowed to hike up to use the portable bathrooms at any time
during the performance.
Parking!
Our site is on a residential single road, so please follow the parking signs on where to
park. Please turn on your headlights when turning onto Bear Gulch Road (West) and drive
slow around corners. We also highly encourage carpooling whenever possible not only because it's
good for the environment but also because of our limited parking spots. Thank you!
Children!
Alice in Wonderland is suitable for minors ages ten and up, accompanied by an adult.
And while we love babies and pet dogs, we cannot accomodate
babes-in-arms or pet dogs on our property. As the nature of our venue is intimate,
and there is no "outside space," we appreciate your understanding in our efforts
to create a theatrical environment for our actors and audience. Thank you.
